Featuring Speaker: Stephen Amundson

BIO FOR STEPHEN AMUNDSON 

Stephen is passionate about leadership and connecting with people! At the young age of 16, his father was tragically killed in a work-related accident. Ten years later, he lost his second father, also to a fatal work-related accident. 

The experience of losing his two fathers has driven Stephen to have a strong desire to connect with people. He truly understands the common phrase, “Live today like it’s your last”! His programs and speaking style truly inspire and motivates people to make the most out of every opportunity! 

For the past 20 years Stephen has served as the Director of Leadership at Tulare Western High School. Recently, he was named the Tulare County Teacher of the Year and Tulare Joint Union High School Teacher of the Year. He is a past winner of the Bob Burton Spirit Award and is a frequent guest speaker at Phil Boyte’s School Culture Summits and Podcast. In addition, he is a blog writer for Teen Truth and a spokesperson for DUDE BE NICE! Lastly, he is the creator of Four Seasons of School Culture. A program that is changing the way schools do student leadership across the country. Over the past two years, his program has been implemented in over 250 schools nationwide. The Four Seasons of School Culture focuses on developing leaders, living with purpose, pursuing your passion, and connecting with people. 

Stephen makes his home in Central California with his wife and four children. When he’s not working on a leadership project, he enjoys reading, working out, and coaching soccer. 

It starts with you, it’s not about you!
