Spring Conference 2020 Cancelled

We are heartbroken for the loss of connection, learning, recognition and tradition that comes with the decision to cancel Spring Conference. We wish to thank you for your understanding and patience as we process and work through all of the issues that this action entails. We are thankful we can do our part in keeping our students, teachers and communities safe.

We encourage you to stay connected online and offline during these challenging times. We look forward to continuing to recognize schools, share ideas and offer support. Let’s send virtual hugs to our student executive council members who have put so much time, passion and energy into planning this event for us.

Sending you all LOVE from OASC!

Featured Speakers:

Jesse LeBeau

My name is Jesse and I want to be completely transparent with you. My whole life I’ve been overlooked and underestimated, and I always felt like I had to prove myself. I’ll be honest it didn’t always make for a lot of fun growing up, but looking back at it now I couldn’t be more thankful that I was an underdog.

It taught me the importance of hard work, to believe in myself, and how to take complete ownership for my life. I learned how to go from the victim to the victor and how to turn my biggest weaknesses into my greatest strengths. Qualities that served me very well as I pursued happiness and success in this crazy thing we call life.

Julia Garcia

Whether it’s through her powerful speaking style, edgy performance poetry. revealing memoir, small n’ mighty tech startup, or her doctoral research, JULIA GARCIA, is a young biracial woman who is changing the game and leading our generation in some PRETTY POWERFUL and urgent conversations.
